The Poetry Storehouse

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

All material included in The Poetry Storehouse is freely available to multimedia artists to use in artistic projects under an attribution, non-commercial Creative Commons license, which allows the work to be remixed or adapted by others, while prohibiting commercial usage of the work. By submitting your poems to The Poetry Storehouse, you accept these terms. (Note: Artists wishing to make commercial use of material created using your work must contact you directly and separately to make appropriate licensing arrangements – please include your contact info in your submission if you would like to be contacted with such requests.)

We particularly welcome text poems written collaboratively. We also accept previously-published poems. By submitting previously-published poems, you attest that publication rights for those poems have reverted to you. Please be sure to supply relevant crediting information with your submission.

The Poetry Storehouse also publishes audio recordings of text poems accepted here. Once your poem is accepted, we would be happy to consider any recordings of the poem you may wish to submit, on the understand that any such audio may also be used by others under the same Creative Commons licensing.

The Poetry Storehouse will be promoted among poets and multimedia artists (video poets, musicians, soundscape artists, digital artists etc) and will retroactively add links to any new works that result from an artist’s engagement with the poem.

Please submit no more than five poems with your bio as a Word document. We recommend a focus on poems that are shorter, rather than longer, given the creative effort it takes to generate each minute of video or audio-visual remix material. The Poetry Storehouse does not buy or sell poetry.
